Thai authorities have arrested and charged prominent esports players Tokyogurl (Naphat Warasin, 24) and Cheerio (Chaiyo, 23) in connection with a massive cheating incident at the 33rd SEA Games 2025. The duo faces fraud charges under Thailand's Computer Crime Act after confessing to using Discord for remote control during a women's Arena of Valor (RoV) match against Vietnam on December 16, 2025.

Caught live when officials noticed mismatched hand movements, Tokyogurl mimicked her boyfriend's actions while he played remotely leading to immediate disqualification and Thailand's team withdrawal.
