The Pokémon UNITE India Qualifier for the 2026 World Championship Series has been officially unveiled, delivering a massive $25,000 prize pool and a direct ticket to the WCS Finals in San Francisco for the winning team. Hosted by Skyesports in partnership with The Pokémon Company, this open tournament marks India’s official pathway to compete on the world stage.
Key Details of the Pokémon UNITE India Qualifier
Set to run from April 24 to 26, 2026, the Pokémon UNITE India Qualifier is a fully open 32-team bracket event. No invitations are needed, every squad in India gets a fair chance to qualify. Registrations opened on April 8 and close on April 22, giving teams just two weeks to lock in their roster.
The schedule breaks down as follows:
Qualifiers (Day 1 & 2): April 24-25
Top 8 Playoffs & Grand Finals: April 26
Teams of 5 to 6 players (with one substitute allowed) will battle in Pokémon UNITE’s standard 5v5 format. Players without a full team can connect with others through the official Skyesports Pokémon UNITE Discord server. This structure ensures the Pokémon UNITE India Qualifier remains accessible for both established esports organizations and passionate grassroots squads.

The $25,000 USD prize pool will be split among the top six teams:
1st Place: $15,000 + direct slot to the 2026 Pokémon UNITE World Championship Finals in San Francisco (August 28-30)
2nd Place: $4,000
3rd Place: $2,500
4th Place: $1,500
